Window transparency on Mac OS X

Hi All,

I’m not sure if this changed when I upgraded to Yosemite or not. I’ve found several topics on the web about turning transparency off completely in the OS but that is not what I’m after.

I’ve noticed that the window I create seems to have a very slight transparency, like the alpha of the entire screen is stuck at 0.9. I can faintly see the underlying windows behind what I’m rendering.

Does anyone know how I can prevent this (apart from switching it off for the entire OS)

Cheers,

Bas

I don’t have any transparency issues in Yosemite on my MacBook Pro using a intel iris GPU. Can you take a screenshot of it?

Sorry for the late reply, been busy on playing with this thing but haven’t checked the forum.

Weirdly enough taking a screenshot does not show this issue. I’ve learned to live with it and hardly notice it anymore, must be a Yosemite thing, there are some weird things in Yosemite.
