# Is GLFW dead?

Ok I stand corrected. Now if I could just figure out why LoadLibrary fails.

I hate to say this but I think the world would benefit if someone posted a VC++ 2005 Express project that built both the GLFW library as well as a windowed sample.

I suspect more than a few people are having trouble getting this to work on Windows, check the [gamedev.net](http://gamedev.net) forums and you’ll see what I mean. There’s at least one other guy who is having the same problems which means there are probably others who never bothered to post.
