Hi @CatsNipYummy, welcome to the GLFW forum.

You can use the [GLFW Window Hint **GLFW\_AUTO\_ICONIFY**](https://www.glfw.org/docs/latest/window_guide.html#window_hints_wnd) to do this. You set this hint with [glfwWindowHint](https://www.glfw.org/docs/latest/group__window.html#ga7d9c8c62384b1e2821c4dc48952d2033) prior to window creation, or you can set the similar [Window Attribute **GLFW\_AUTO\_ICONIFY**](https://www.glfw.org/docs/latest/window_guide.html#window_attribs_wnd) using [glfwSetWindowAttrib](https://www.glfw.org/docs/latest/group__window.html#gace2afda29b4116ec012e410a6819033e) at any point after window creation.

For example:

```c
glfwWindowHint( GLFW_AUTO_ICONIFY, GLFW_FALSE );
// now create window
```
