# DRI2 failed to authenticate after 3.2 upgrade

Hi

Im developing under Linux Mint 17

Since I upgraded to 3.2 I keep on getting this warning at startup: “libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate”. It is just a warning Im gettin on console at startup, but the software runs fine.

I tried building GLFW with no Wayland/Mir suppor, but I keep on getting that message. I tried setting a windowhint asking for GLFW\_CONTEXT\_CREATION\_API=GLFW\_NATIVE\_CONTEXT\_API, but I still get the same warning line…

I just want to get rid of that annoying line, is it possible?

Do you get the same warning with current master? There were some changes to EGL loading just 2 days ago.
